Ashford has a fast-growing population which has more than trebled in the last 40 years to over 112,000 residents. This dynamic growth pattern is set to continue. Designated by the Government as a 'growth area', a £2.5 billion investment programme is underway to provide 31,000 new homes and 28,000 jobs by 2031.
