The Environment Agency is the leading public body responsible for protecting the environment across England and Wales. They look after everything from flood risk management and agriculture, to conservation and industry regulation. The head office is split between Bristol and London but the organisation is divided into eight regions (Southern, Thames, South West, Midlands, Anglian, Wales, North West and North East) each having a Regional Office and Director. IN addition to the eight regional offices their are 24 local offices.

Graduate & Foundation Degree programmes
- Graduate and Foundation Degree programmes in Flood & Coastal Risk
Currently there are graduate programmes for BEng and MEng graduates. Both programmes last between three and four years - once you’ve successfully completed the programme, you will be well placed to become either a qualified Chartered Engineer (MEng students) or an Incorporated Engineer (BEng students).
- River and Coastal Risk Engineering Foundation Degree
Two year Foundation Degree in River and Coastal Engineering is co-created with the University of the West of England, will provide a perfect start to a career in River and Coastal Engineering. Comprising two days a week studying and three days spent training on real life projects, you’ll learn everything you need to turn your ambition into a rewarding and worthwhile engineering career.
