The Kent Website since 1999
Welcome to the Yourcounty property jobs page, here we focus on organisations offering employment in the; housing, estate agency and construction sectors. We've been running this and similar feature for several years. Key to the development of these features is user and researcher comment, we welcome your views about the employers featured here and their recruitment processes. If you'd like to suggest other organisations in this category for free inclusion use our contact details at the bottom of the page.
This isn't an exhaustive list we aim to give a an idea of the breadth of the jobs available in the sector as well as listing some of the leading organisations working in the sector that is likely to have vacancies now or at some time in the near future.
This is a page under development and constant improvement, employers here fall into three distinct types:
There are several hundred estate agents in the region, we don't link to them all here, rather you can search local estate and letting agents through our property pages. We detail estate agents based on location, if you visit the relevant website you will normally be able to access their current vacancies. The exception to this are estate agents that we hold general and recruitment information for on this website, these pages are linked to directly from this page. We also publish a general estate agency recruitment guide, this is also linked from here.
These links are regularly checked but if you find any are broken or out of date please let us know. This is a page under development and more links will be published over the coming days. Feel free to submit information for inclusion.
Waitrose is part of the JLP (John Lewis Partnership)so employees can expect the same benefits enjoyed by staff at John Lewis. Waitrose is currently expanding across the South East, which means more jobs and more opportunities of progression.
Retail jobs in Kent
The retail sector now dominates employment opportunities in most major towns. We publish a retail employment feature outlining most of the UK's major high street employers including; Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Morrisons, B&Q, Boots and many more.
If you've worked hard to get yourself a degree is it time to question if you are getting the most from your qualification? Many large employers have specific recruitment campaigns aimed at attracting graduate entry recruits. Take a look at our guide and see what's going on.
