Complimentary breakdown cover

Insure your car with the Post Office® and we’ll give you complimentary Roadside Assistance and Recovery cover*.

Roadside Assistance: this covers you when you’re more than a quarter of a mile away from home. We aim to fix your car at the roadside but if that’s not possible we’ll tow you to an approved garage or a destination of your choice (up to 10 miles)
Recovery: if we can’t fix your car locally in a reasonable time, we’ll transport your vehicle, you and up to 7 passengers to your home or 1 address in the UK. Your cover also includes transportation if you’re taken ill and there are no passengers who can drive the vehicle

You can choose to add additional breakdown cover at a discounted price – the cost to include Homestart cover is £20 (1 year) or Homestart and Onward Travel cover is £40 (1 year).
