Honfleur Tourist Information

Welcome to the P&O Guide to Honfleur.

Within 3 hours drive from Calais, Honfleur, a busy fishing port on the other side of the magnificent Pont de Normandie, is the ideal destination for a relaxing short break this spring. Located between Deauville and Le Havre, Honfleur combines beaches, art, history and gastronomy.

With prices starting from as little as £25* each way for a car and up to nine people, don't miss out on a great break this spring. To make your trip even easier to plan, m
ore details at the P&O website.

The Old Dock surrounded by picturesque narrow houses, the Lieutenancy and St Stephen's Church is with no doubt what catches the eye of every visitor. 17th Century stone dwellings survive largely intact in a warren of streets around the old harbour: a perfect place for a stroll to work up an appetite before savouring the local seafood specialities.

Set by the Estuary, Honfleur gave birth to many artists. Painters such as Dufy, Seurat, Boudin and Monet have captured Honfleur's charms in some of their work and Baudelaire also enjoyed Honfleur. The town still hosts a number of artist's studios, which are well worth a visit.
