Contemporary Indian restaurant providing something stylish in both ambience and menu. This is one of the better Indian restaurants in the area providing a good dining experience. 24 St Peters Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2BQ

Chapter One

If you haven't been to Chapter One I would suggest you pay them a visit, you will almost certainly be well fed from an outstanding menu in a stylish setting. Farnborough Common, Locksbottom, Kent, BR6 8NF.

Crab And Winkle

Above the fish market overlooking the fishing boats with views across the harbour  The Crab And Winkle probably enjoys the most appropriate setting of any seafood restaurant in Kent. South Quay, The Harbour, Whitstable, CT5 1AB. 

Cyprus Village

Cyprus Village has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere but Sunday lunchtime is particularly special. 222 Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AU

Dunkerleys

Is an excellent place to eat lunch or dinner and a breakfast menu is available from 8am every day. If the weather is fine consider an al fresco dining experience sitting on the terrace enjoying the sea air. 19 Beach Street, Deal, CT14 7AH

Ferraris

Ferraris has been a popular Italian restaurant/bar for a well over a decade, it offers tried and tested dishes alongside more modern and innovative ideas. 39 East Street, Bromley, Kent, BR1 1PP

Five World Kitchen

Eclectic isn't the word! Something for everything for almost everyone in Tunbridge Wells's newest restaurant. Prices are UBER competitive. Five World Kitchen, 101 Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells.

Gavin Gregg Restaurant

Gregg's hold 2 AA rosettes, which are awarded to "Excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards and better consistency. A greater precision is apparent in the cooking, and there will be obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients." 28-30 High Street, Sevenoaks, TN13 1HX

Haxted Mill

The beamed interior of the 15th century Mill is complimented by a superb open terrace where you can enjoy a candlelit dinner in the summer months (with the indulgence of the British Weather). Haxted Mill Riverside Brasserie & Bar, Haxted Road, Edenbridge, TN8 6PU

Hotel du Vin Bistro

The Hotel du Vin & Bistro in Tunbridge Wells occupies an imposing Grade II listed sandstone mansion, which was originally built as a private residence in 1762 during the Georgian heyday of the town. Crescent Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2LY

La Tasca Kitchen

The food is as good as any similar restaurant I've been to in Kent and the price is competitive. If you go at peak shopping times it will be busy (they have over 200 covers). Water Circus, Bluewater, Dartford, DA9 9AS - 58 Earl Street, Maidstone, ME14 1PS

Loch Fyne

As befits the English county with the longest coastline, Kent is well served by restaurants that offer good quality seafood, well; prepared, cooked and presented (this hasn't always been the case). 63-65 High Street, Sevenoaks, TN13 1JY - West Village, Bluewater, Greenhithe, DA9 9SE

Loon Hin

The Loon Hin Chinese Restaurant in Broad Street, Deal specialises in delicious Peking and Cantonese food at very reasonable prices. 8 Broad Street, Deal, Kent, CT14 6ER

Marquis of Granby

Locals from the area will have known of this establishment for quite a long time. It has been attracting diners from Dover and Folkestone under the guise of the Marquis of Granby for many a year. But there has been a transformation from a good local pub serving food to one of the leading restaurants in this part of Kent. Alkham Valley Road, Alkham, Dover, CT15 7DF

New Delhi Tandoori

It's been a while since our review, so the details here may well be out of date. If you have a recent experience please let us know. The New Delhi Tandoori restaurant in Folkestone is a long established Indian restaurant with a reputation for serving good food. 135 Sandgate Rd, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2BL

Osteria Posillipo

This review is based primarily on the Broadstairs dining experience. We have tried the other restaurants and in our opinion you are likely to find a similar quality of; food, presentation and service in all three locations. Pizza Express

As it name suggests Pizza Express bases most of it's activity around the pizza, and it is with this that it excels. 4 Best Lane, Canterbury, CT1 2JB. Branches also at: Ashford, Beckenham, Bluewater, Bromley, Chislehurst, Maidstone, Rochester, Sevenoaks, Sidcup, Tonbridge, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and West Wickham.

Spice Court

Probably their best deal Spice Thursday - every Thursday evening from 5.30pm. Choice of: starter, main, side vegetable dish, rice or nan plus coffee or ice cream. £10 (add £2.95 for King Prawn dishes). 56-58 Balmoral Road, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 4PG.

Squires Restaurant

It's been a while since our last visit to Squires so the details here may be out of date. If you've got a recent dining experience to share we'd be pleased to hear from you. Bridgewood Roundabout, Walderslade Woods, Chatham

Tia

OK, the best curry in Canterbury is a bold claim that does require a context. This is our editorial judgement having eaten at or from all of the curry houses and take-aways in the city in the last 12 months (as well as a dozen or so in other Kent towns). 72 Castle Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2QD

Thackeray's

One of the more celebrated restaurants in Tunbridge Wells, Thackeray's has a reputation both for the food as well as the ambience in the stylish interior. 85 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1EA

The Barn Restaurant

A really nice restaurant with a still growing reputation. The building is an attractive 17century detached property with a beautiful interior. The Barn can deliver one of the most pleasant dining experiences in the Medway towns. The Barn Restaurant, 507 Lower Rainham Road, Rainham, Kent, ME8 7TN

The Bay Restaurant

Internet giant MSN has praised the newly-opened Bay Restaurant in St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe near Dover and has awarded it the accolade of ‘UK Restaurant of the Month’. Food writers at MSN have heaped plaudits on the restaurant which only opened this summer within The White Cliffs Hotel in the seaside village. The Bull Inn

The Bull Hotel is a well known, traditional coaching inn within the village of Wrotham. The 14th century building underwent a complete transformation in the run up to the formal opening of the hotel at the beginning of May 2012.

The Dove Inn

The Olive Grove

A stylish Italian restaurant set on two floors near the centre of Canterbury. From the front of the first floor dining area you have great views of the Cathedral, particularly impressive after dusk when illuminated. 12 Best Lane, Canterbury, CT1 2JB

The Royal Bengal

Popular with all ages it caters for everyone, from those who want the ultimate ‘hot’ curry experience to those who prefer their palates to be seduced with milder fragrant dishes. Royal Bengal, 9 High Street, Hythe, Kent, CT21 5AD

Village Cuisine

First opened in 1992, since when they have tried to maintain a tradition of changing the menu three or four times a year. 145 High Street, Farnborough, Kent, BR6 7AZ

Whitstable Oyster Restaurant

This fish restaurant was opened around 25 years ago by The Whitstable Oyster Fisheries Co. The formula here is;' to provide exceptionally fresh fish, cooked simply' and it works. Royal Native Oyster Stores, Horsebridge, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1BU

Wife of Bath

The atmosphere in the Wife of Bath is charming, it's a good restaurant but definitely unstuffy and relaxed. The building's interior is in character with the Victorian exterior, fresh linen table cloths and recently cut flowers adorn the tables, the service is attentive and helpful. 4 Upper Bridge Street, Wye, Ashford, TN25 5AW

Woods

Woods prepare all the food on site with local ingredients in season (where possible). 62 The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN2 5TN

World's Wonder

The World's Wonder sits near the Romney Marsh between Hamstreet and Tenterden. The building has a fine tradition as an inn going back over 100 years. Warehorne, Ashford, Kent, TN26 2LU
