What is covered?

  • Up to £7,500 for any single high risk item,
  • Automatic contents increase during Christmas, up to 10% increase, subject to a maximum £3,000,
  • Visitors' belongings covered up to £250,
  • Accidental damage to TV, audio, video, PC equipment and professionally installed satellite equipment fixed to your home,
  • Accidental breakage of mirrors and fixed glass within furniture,
  • Personal cash and credit cards stolen from your home up to £500,
  • Keys to external doors, safes and alarms in your home.

Home buildings insurance automatically covers:

  • Any necessary costs for architects’ and surveyors’ fees following damage to the buildings by an insured event,
  • Alternative accommodation costs and/or loss of rent up to 20% of your buildings insurance, if your home is made inhabitable by an insured event,
  • Accidental breakage of ceramic hobs, sanitary ware and fixed glass in your home.
