An all-female networking lunch, run by leading Kent accountancy firm Horwath Clark Whitehill (HCW), in conjunction with Ansacom, Clydesdale Bank and Brachers, has raised £400 for the Heart of Kent Hospice.

Professionally Pink is an event just for women from local businesses, organised by HCW, with the latest event taking place at Souffle Restaurant in Bearsted, near Maidstone.

Guests attending the lunch were able to discuss business in an informal atmosphere and also heard from guest speaker Caroline Brinkman, corporate fundraiser from the Heart of Kent Hospice. Following the lunch, a donation was made to the specialist palliative care organisation based at Aylesford.

Event organiser Emily Rushton, from HCW, said: “This was a really successful lunch and it was a great opportunity to meet with like-minded business women. We were also able to learn more about the wonderful care provided at the Heart of Kent Hospice and it was great to be able to make a donation towards their important work.”
