The Duke Of Wellington, Pubs In RyarshSet on the main road in the centre of Ryarsh (near West Malling), The Duke of Wellington is the beating social heart of the village where regulars and passing trade are given a warm welcome. Enter the pub from the front and there is a dining room to your right with the main bar to your left. The pub also has a small car park, beer garden and petanque court. There's a lot going on at the pub and in a typical week you can expect; a Monday night quiz, an open mike Jam Session on Wednesday evening and live music on Thursday and/or Friday. The pubs beers include: Stella, London Pride, Flowers Best, Shepherd Neame Master Brew and Boddingtons. They also stock bottled brown and mild ale. The menu is in the process of being changes but at the time of our visit the choice included: Chicken Goujons, Duck & Orange Pate, Cottage Pie, Chicken Tikka & Poached Haddock. The whole interior and exterior of the pub are very traditional with stripped floors, fireplaces and wood paneling. The Duke runs darts and petanque sides in the local leagues and also sponsors the village football team. You'll find darts, table football, a couple of fruit machines alongside good pub grub and well kept beer here. You can find The Duke of Wellington at:
