The Jolly Farmer - Pubs In Manston - Country Pubs In Kent

Former coaching house thought to have been in existence for over 230 years. The nearby airfield of Manston dominates the interior of the pub with numerous mementos reflecting the airfield's important military and commercial role, most notably during the Battle of Britain. The pub is easy to find at the top end of Manston High Street with on site parking.

The interior of the pub is modern with an extended dining area. The large main bar is an L shape with ample room to sit or stand. The pub is open all day Friday and Saturday but closes during the afternoon for the rest of the week, Children (under 14) are not allowed in the bar or restaurant after 9.30pm.

A good selection of beers served including: Whitbread Best, Old Speckled Hen, London Pride, Boddingtons, Guinness, Caffreys and. Heineken Export. The pub has a wide range of locals with some passing trade, a warm welcome is afford to all and the pub has a really nice atmosphere. There are a couple of games machines and a pretty garden to the rear.

The restaurant serves a good range of food whilst the bar menu includes bar snacks and sandwiches.
