The Black Horse Inn - Pubs In Thurnham - Country Pubs In Kent

Beautiful, traditional Kent pub on the historic Pilgrims Way set within Downs. A welcoming Inn decorated with hops; lots of bare floorboards, exposed beams and a lovely fireplace. The building first used as a public house in the 1750s.

It's a gimmick free pub so you won't find much in the way of juke boxes or fruit machines. Good selection of beer and wine plus all the expected beverages. Excellent reputation for food (more details to follow over the next two weeks).

Live music every Wednesday evening and one Friday evening each month.

Six en suite bed and breakfast rooms. The local area has a network of footpaths and bridle paths and is widely used by cyclists, ramblers and horse riders taking advantage of some of Britain's most beautiful countryside.

Dogs are welcome on a lead and the Inn is open all day, all week, all year! Ample parking in the large car park.
