A good example of a traditional family village pub. This 15th Century Inn contains all the architectural features and decor that you'd expect. Real Ale is a priority at the Chequers , it was one of the first pubs in the area to win the Cask Marque Award and also boasts a listing in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide.

The Chequers has a reputation for good value for money dining.
