The Coastguard - Pubs In St Margaret's - Country Pubs In Kent

If you go through the village of St. Margaret’s at Cliffe and follow the road as it twists and turns down to the sea you come to a beach with cliffs hemming it in at each end. Set back from the beach and close to the slope of the hill is the Coastguard pub. The building does not look to be particularly old and is square in shape and has a good patio area at the front with tables and chairs for the summer or for just watching the boats go by. The bar area is a good size and there are plenty of tables and chairs.

The pub offers food and has a varied menu of starters and main courses with good portions provided, and there are also a number of vegetarian options available. The pub stocks a good range of wines and beers.
