The Hope Inn - Pubs In St Margaret's - Country Pubs In Kent

It’s a strange feeling going back to a place that you last visited many years ago. You wonder if it will be the same or if your memory has faded over the intervening years. My recollection of the Hope Inn at St. Margaret's at Cliffe was fairly good for a 25 year gap and the building and layout was much as I remembered with its long bar. The Hope is mainly a "locals" pub but I suspect there are people who know it and travel from a bit further afield.

The pub has a varied menu of good food for pub meals and also a restaurant which serves food at lunch time as well as the evenings. The Hope serves a variety of Shepherd Neame beer’s and lagers.The pub has a dart board, pool table, wide screen TV and a garden for warmer days, there is also a no smoking area.

The pub is in the High Street at:

St Margaret's at Cliffe and has some parking.
The high street is fairly narrow but there is also some parking in Reach Road nearby.
