"You don't have many reviews from the Ashford area so I'd thought I'd nudge the Yourcounty faithful towards The New Flying Horse In Wye. It's a good pub with a brasserie with a number of en-suite bedrooms. The building is of a traditional design inside and out with award winning gardens and a thatched roof. As a Shepherd Neame house there's always a good range of quality ales, and during past summers, afternoon teas have been served in the garden.

Wye is in a beautiful location at the foot of the North Downs under the 'Crown' a cutting in the chalk hill undertaken at the time of the coronation of King Edward VII. From Wye you can ramble through the Stour Valley and up to the North Downs."
