The Kent Website since 1999
The Old Neptune is situated right on the beach in Whitstable and is literally a stone's throw from the sea. The pub boasts a beer garden on the pebbles overlooking the coast. Like many businesses in Whitstable it can be very busy during the summer months.
There is a range of cooked food provided during the day and bar snacks in the evening, before you order anything to eat check out the seafood specials on the notice board, there is usually something particularly tasty on offer. Because of its location the pub is popular on warm summer days and nights. The pub features live local bands on a regular basis, typically Fridays and Saturdays. There is some parking nearby but the pub is within walking distance of the town centre.
"The Old Neptune is agreeably positioned on the beach and offers the perfect location to view extraordinary sunsets."
