Look no further than the Prince Albert, it has been refurbished in the recent past so all its fixtures and fittings are still relatively new; but the emphasis has been placed on creating a a typical town centre pub after the Shepherd Neame model. The interior is carpeted but there is a lot of wood panelling, with brass and nautical ornaments and an open fire. As with all Sheps pubs the beer served is pretty good (Spitfire, Masterbrew, et al). The service usually comes with a smile which ensures good regular and passing custom.
