The Star Inn - Pubs In Matfield - Country Pubs In Kent

The Matfield area is well served with 'traditional' inns but the Star is a great example of an English country pub. The interior and exterior are charming and the pub also offers B&B accommodation. The Star is a village landmark and parts of the original building are over 500 years old.

The pub has a pleasant, slightly genteel atmosphere and much of the trade is local and regular. A good quality pub menu is on offer at lunchtimes and evenings seven days a week and the pub is open all day. Alongside the usual selection of beverages you'll also find a small but regularly rotated selection of real ales.
