The Two Brewers - Pubs In Rochester - Country Pubs In Kent

The Brewers is a small traditional Shepherd Neame pub right in the middle of the city. The bar is set to your right hand side as you enter the building with seating around the bar and to the rear. A limited but reliable pub grub menu is available at lunchtimes and the pub is gaining a reputation for quality live music on Sunday afternoons.

The beers on offer included all of those brands you'd typically find in a Sheps pub; Masterbrew, Spitfire, Holstein and Guinness to name but a few. The beer was well kept and the service cordial rather than warm. The pub is an over 20's venue and you're likely to find more people drinking beer than saccharine flavored alcoholic drinks even on a Friday and Saturday night.

Being relatively small, the place can feel really packed when full but the atmosphere is pretty good even at the busiest times. The pub is open all day so it's an opportune stopping off place for a mid afternoon or an early evening snorter.

I've been to to the Two Brewers several times and will be returning.
