My first impressions on entering Ferraris, was great,
stylish interior, and friendly staff. The Italian menu was extensive and
imaginative, with a variety of reasonably priced set menus for lunchtime
and early evening. There was an express lunch at £6.95 including a pizza
or pasta, with a glass of wine, bottle of larger or soft drink.
The express menu is also available Sunday to Thursday
for the early evening diners from
6:00pm
- 7:15pm
. Look out for regularly changing special offers these make Ferraris
excellent value for money, ask when booking in advance for the latest
deals.
Some of the highlights of the menu included:
- Gamberoni Con Aglio Peperoncino - Pan-fried tiger
king prawns with butter, olive oil, garlic, chili, herbs
- Speck Prosciutto Con Rucola e Parmigiano - Natural
smoked ham with rocket and parmesan shavings
- Tagliatelle Al Toscana - Tagliatelle pasta with
artichokes, pancetta (smoked Italian bacon) in cream sauce
- Scaloppine Di Vitello - Escalope of veal, filled with
wild mushrooms, spinach, wrapped in smoked bacon
- Bisteca Di Marlin - 8oz Char-grilled mrlin steak,
warm salad of roasted peppers, roasted new potatoes and rocket
- Panna Cotta - Vanilla Cream Mousse, served with Fruit
of the Forest Compote
