Three floors of Chinese and Malaysian food just a stone's throw from Rochester station. Set in an imposing building on the High Street, the interior is modern, bright and stylish a strong contrast when compared to some more traditional Chinese restaurants in the area. An attractive bar area enables you to take a drink before heading off to your table.

Blue Rays is not just about presentation and atmosphere. The food is generally good to excellent and the menu more than ample; I can't think of a Kent Chinese restaurant with such an extensive choice. Prices for a two course meal start at about �10. Highlights from the The A La Carte include:

Also watch out for Chef's specials and set meals (prices start at under �10 per person. The restaurant also enjoys a pretty good wine list, prices start at about �13 a bottle and rise to nearly �50 for the Barolo DOCG Riserva

The restaurant can accommodate well over 150 covers so large groups can be catered for (always book in advance where possible). Take away service also available.
