This restaurant is part of the La Tasca chain of Spanish restaurants in the UK. The food is as good as any similar restaurant I've been to in the UK and the price is competitive. If you go at peak shopping times it will be busy, so if you don't want to queue for a table pick your moment. We visited on a midweek lunchtime, business was brisk, but we got seated and served quickly. We specifically visited the restaurant to try the Tapas, you can order as many or as few as you like and it's a great way for a group of you to try a wide range of dishes. As you'd expect, Spanish beer and wine as well as continental style bread are on the menu. The choice of Tapas is too great to list here (about 30 dishes) but prices are in a range from £2 to £4. We tried:
The menu also contains; Paella from £18 for two people, a range of Spanish wine from £10 per bottle and most of the better known Spanish beers.Lunch for two including drinks and bread came to under £20. All in all a pleasant restaurant experience. La Tasca is suited both for a quick snack or a more significant eating adventure. We will be going back. You can find La Tasca at:
