New Delhi - Restaurants In Folkestone - The Kent Guide To Eating Out

The New Delhi Tandoori Restaurant in Folkestone is a long established Indian restaurant with a reputation for serving good food. The layout of the restaurant is perhaps not conducive to romantic dinners for two but was comfortable with plenty of room. The restaurant is popular and on the Saturday we visited went from almost empty to full within about half an hour. The staff are attentive and service very good.

On this visit we opted to go straight for a main course and ordered a Vegetarian Thali and a Chicken Dopiaza. The Vegetarian Thali is a good choice for two people to share because it is a selection of different dishes. Ours included Sag Aloo, Yoghurt, Vegetable Curry, Pulao Rice, Mushroom Bhajee, Dal and Nan Bread. Combined with the Chicken Dopiaza this proved to be a good mix with plenty for two

.The restaurant is open:

from 12 to 2pm and 5.30pm to midnight
7 days a week and also provides a takeaway service.
