The service is good and attentive and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable seating, good lighting and an interesting selection of music contribute to making a visit to The Royal Bengal a delight well worth repeating. You will not be disappointed if you order the meal you know you will enjoy but this is the place to experiment and try one of their House Specialties, Chicken Chap is particularly good. It is not always necessary to book in advance but the restaurant can get very busy, particularly in the holiday season and if you don’t want to be disappointed reserve a table by telephoning 01303 67372. Opening hours are seven days a week 12 to 2:30pm and 6pm to Midnight. There is parking in the High Street in the evening and a council car park only 40 yards from the restaurant.
