The Blue Vinny Restaurant - Elham
Blue Vinny is acclaimed Kent
restaurant is located in the village of Elham in the centre of the Elham
Valley nestling in the beautiful Kent Downs between Canterbury and
Folkestone just minutes from the Channel Tunnel entrance.
Originally the village
bakery the Victorian building now has a stylish modern interior with
colourful abstract works of art, polished tables, linen napkins and
comfortable leather chairs.
The quality and supply of
this local produce is superb, so they are able to use really fresh foods
of the finest quality nearly all grown locally.
the restaurant
has access to organic vegetables, chicken and lamb from ‘Jubilee Farm’
just two miles away and to ‘Forager’, an Elham Valley based wild food
company, who supply mushrooms, fungi, hedgerow herbs and salads,
seaweeds, wild flowers, fruit and nuts picked just hours before its on
our plates. Beef and pork come from the rare breed producer ‘Huntsham
Farm’ used by Heston Blumenthal - Fat Duck Bray and Michel Roux - Le
