Sittingbourne this Saturday People living in Swale who have had jewellery stolen
between December 2007 and February of this year are being invited to attend
an exhibition from 9am at Sittingbourne Police Station on Saturday 5 April.
Police have recovered more than 100 items from pawn shops and hope to
reunite the jewellery with the rightful owners.
The items include earrings, gold rings and necklaces and they will be on
display at the station.
Detective Constable Mark Whewell-Jones said: 'We are keen
for people to come forward with receipts or photographic evidence that
proves ownership of the items on display. Clearly we want to make sure the
right items are matched up with the right people.'
