The Kent Website since 1999
Welcome to the Yourcounty local and regional flight arrival and departure feature. Kent always has been something of a crossroads, linking the UK to the rest of Europe. Even now in the era of frequent air travel the county has two international airports; Manston and Lydd as well as unrivalled access to a number of other important airports, Gatwick and Stanstead are both less than an hour's car drive away from the Kent stretch of the M25 (traffic permitting). London City Airport and Heathrow Airport are both also within easy reach.

We publish some local and regional flight information and links to relevant sources below. All Kent's traffic and traffic resources can be found from the Kent Traffic and Travel page. If you need to check on any flight details for a specific airport try the relevant link below, many provide real-time or live information regarding flights into and out of the regions airports. If you need to combine several forms of transport (plane and train for example) the Transport Direct database may be the most useful resource. We include links to Kent's two international airport's below (Manston & Lydd) as well as the big regional operators
If you know of airline and flight resources that would improve this page we'd be happy to hear from you. We welcome feedback about your airport experiences, particularly if you have used the Kent airports, Manston and Lydd. Please see our disclaimer.
We take care over our content and this page is checked regularly, but if you find an error or omission please let us know.
Alongside job, tourism and freetime features, Yourcounty also publishes local news, business news, travel, traffic and weather features. Amongst our most frequently visited pages are Strange but True and Kent51. We welcome suggestions and pointers to interesting material with a local angle.
