At the Tunbridge Wells Badminton League junior restricted tournament held on Sunday 9th March at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge, Tom Moore and Sam Kennedy-Owen, both aged 9, won Gold and Silver medals, respectively, in the Under 11’s novice singles tournament. This is the first badminton tournament that the boys have entered.

Tom and Sam are members of a junior badminton session, run by qualified badminton coaches, Connie Evans and Stewart Wild at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre. Tom is now in his second term, and Sam has only been playing for 8 weeks! Both boys are extremely pleased with their medals.
