Reports from Invicta is that the Folkestone outfit has boosted its boardroom line up with a number of new signings. The announcement comes in the build up to the 2014/15 season and is being heralded as a sign of increased confidence at the club.
New Directors include: Shaun Beattie, David Darlow and Adrian Williams. Messrs Beattie and Williams are both directors of Folkestone based M3 Solutions, a company whose special interests include solar energy installations for commercial outlets. M£ are also Invicta's shirt sponsors.
Talking about the boardroom recruitment Invicta's Chief Executive Jim Pellatt said:
"It has been a real pleasure to see new people like Adrian, Shaun and David joining our board, which has been pretty sparsely populated in the last three or four years.
"In that time we've been indebted to Brian Merryman, who has been the sole director, and the increase in board numbers indicates the terrific progress Folkestone Invicta have made in the past few months."

Sport in Kent
Yourcounty has been publishing local sport and news features since the year 2000. In that time we have reported on, promoted and supported clubs and events for 15 years. We feature a range of locally focussed stories from and for the business community. Our coverage is largely press release driven but we also write our own editorial features on an ad-hoc basis. We welcome submission of press and media releases as well as news and events. Send us an email with the relevant details.
Local sports features
Kent sports news has been part of the Yourcounty coverage for over a decade. We no longer run local sport based results services but we are always interested to hear about the highs and lows of local sports teams and sporting projects. The coverage is both broad based and eclectic so you might expect to find details of professional soccer teams alongside information about community volleyball or wheelchair basketball.
