The market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, Civic Way, Royal Tunbridge Wells (outside the Town Hall) 9am - 2pm.

There are presently over twenty markets in Kent, Tunbridge Wells Farmers Market is one of only three certificated FARMA (previously the National Association of Farmers Markets) farmers markets in Kent.

This means they are independently assessed by the Soil Association for compliance with the regulations laid down by FARMA such as: local ingredients are used where possible, stallholders come from a defined local area and produce or grow their products, crafts include materials found in the area. Producers are visited and documentation checked for compliance.

Stalls come from a radius of 25 miles, with the addition of guest stalls such the Isle of Wight Garlic and Tomatoes and Selsey Seafood and Fish.

The market sells a wide variety of food such as pork from Gloucester Old Spots, home made sausages, local lamb, locally corned beef, succulent game pies, pheasant and rabbit when in season, award winning cheese such as: mature goats cheese, sheep cheeses, trout, hot and cold smoked fish, apple juice, wines and beers, organic vegetables and fruit.

The market has about 30 stalls selling everything local, from fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy, to woodcraft and plants. For more information email farmersmarket@tunbridgewells.gov.uk
