Villagers Sausages - Gluten Free Sausages
Villagers Fine Sausages shop
has been open for six and a half years. The proprietor Ron Etheridge has a
long background in meat and high quality sausages. His bangers enjoy an
excellent reputation and have featured on TV and in the press.
Villagers website proudly
boasts that their sausages have no additives, no preservatives and many
varieties are Gluten free. Over 60 flavours are advertised on the website,
the range includes traditional favorites like Lincolnshire and Cumberland
through to the more exotic Chinese Duck or Crocodile. Prices start at
about £6.00 and there are vegetarian options. The shop is open Monday to
Saturday but your can buy the produce through mail order with next day
delivery.

Prime pork, freshly chopped leeks, sea salt, pepper and thyme.
- BECKHENHAM CHIPOLATAS
Favoured very highly with young children as it contains a low level of seasoning with no herbs. (also available as gluten free).
- PORK WITH SPINACH
Lots of freshly chopped baby spinach, oregano, savoury and basil.
- WHISTABLE
Originally with oysters, this sausage is similar to the Cumberland but sage is added.
- PORK AND STILTON
Another very popular sausage for those stilton cheese lovers made with prime pork, parsley, sage and cider.
- PORK, APPLE AND CALVADOS
This one goes great guns also as a Christmas stuffing made with cinnamon, cloves, allspices, red apples and apple brandy.

A straight forward but wonderful combination of prime pork shoulder and belly, sage, apricots and sea salt. Gluten free.

This traditional South African braai sausage is very coarse cut to keep the moisture, made with prime beef, pork belly and cut from a coil.
- CHILLIWORS
Made the same way as above, but with chillies, garlic and onions.
- STEAK AND GUINNESS
This beef sausage is perfectly partnered with guinness and is great served with mash and onions.
- EDINBURGH BEEF
Scotch beef, smoked bacon, rolled oats and worcestershire sauce,. These also make great burgers.

This sausage is great in a red wine casserole with juniper berries or just with boiled potatoes, red onion gravy or marmalade.

These are full of red wine and apples. Wild boar has a very subtle flavour and can be dry if over cooked.

- RUGBY WORLD CUP
We rucked and mauled to produce this sausage made with prime pork, smoked bacon and a good kick of red chillies (as eaten by the England Management team).

Soaked cous cous, fresh ginger, red and green chillies, coriander, lime leaves, creamed coconut, sea salt and seasoning
